Kazan Innovative University was founded in 1994 and is currently a leading innovative scientific and educational complex in Russia.

The University comprises a vocational education institution, all levels of higher education, including Bachelor, Master and post-graduate training, and Institute of Business Education, which implements over 600 programs for advanced qualification and professional training, including an МВА program.

Kazan Innovative University has a broad network of branches in the large cities of Tatarstan: Naberezhniye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, Almetyevsk, Chistopol, Bugulma, and Zelenodolsk.

Today, the University is a large innovative scientific and educational complex of the Republic of Tatarstan, one of the leading universities in Russia. The University is annually included into the top-5 non-state universities of Russia according to the “Interfax” National ranking of universities.

Kazan Innovative University is the largest center for humanities, social and other sciences in the Volga region of Russia, systemically and effectively carrying out research in the fields of law, economics, psychology, pedagogy, information technologies, quality management and other important spheres of knowledge. The University is an anchor institution of the scientific and educational cluster of the Republic of Tatarstan in the sphere of commerce, hospitality industry, and services.

The University actively participates in WorldSkills movement. KUI students do practical training and internships at ministries and agencies, judicial bodies and prosecutor’s offices, as well as in large federal companies. The University implements 20 international educational programs. Each year, the University broadens the geography of exporting educational services. Today, students from 30 foreign countries are getting education here.

Kazan Innovative University unites research teams recognized in Russia and abroad, which effectively develop the issues of legal regulation of digital technologies, social and economic development, inclusive education, corruption counteraction, circular economy and many others. Besides, the University is an expert platform for the issues of the civil society development at both regional and federal levels.
