Daniel Brantes Ferreira (Brasil), – Ph.D., Professor at EMERJ University (Brasil) and Ambra University (U.S), a research fellow at the Baldy Center for Law and Social Policy at the University at Buffalo Law School (U.S). He is a prominent legal scholar and a renowned expert in the spheres of digital evidence and alternative dispute resolution. He is the author of numerous scientific works in the field of online and alternative dispute resolution and sports arbitration in BRICS+ states, European Union, and the USA. He worked as a Dean of the Graduate Program in Law at Universidade Candido Mendes (2020-2022) and a CEO of the Brazilian Center for Arbitration and Mediation (CBMA) (2021-2024). He is the founder and CEO of DBFLaw Advogados law firm. He is a Fellow at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb). For his contribution into enlightenment in the sphere of law and development of legal education, Dr Ferreira was awarded the Tiradentes Medal, one of the highest honors awarded by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Rio de Janeiro (2016). Karuppannan Jaishankar (India) – Ph.D., Professor, an outstanding criminologist who initiated formation and development of a new sphere of interdisciplinary research – cyber criminology (2007) – the study of causation of crimes that occur in the cyberspace and its impact in the physical space. For implementation of the proposed concept, he developed Space Transition Theory (2008), which explains the nature of the behaviour of the persons who bring out their conforming and non-conforming behaviour in the physical space and cyberspace. He initiated he academic discipline “Cyber Criminology” (2007), which was later complemented with “Cyber Victimology” (2015). Professor Jaishankar is the founder and President of the South Asian Society of Criminology and Victimology (2009), co-founder and Executive Director of the Centre for Cyber Victim Counselling (2009), International Ambassador - British Society of Criminology (2015), a UNO expert on support of victims of terrorism (2019), a founder of International Academic Institute on Crime and Security Issues (Bengaluru, India) (2022), working as its Director and Professor, etc. His valuable experience, deep and innovative research have been repeatedly marked with both prestigious awards in the sphere of scientific solutions to contemporary problems and high rankings. It suffices to say that, according to the Academic Influence research, Professor Jaishankar ranked 16th among the Top 25 Influential Criminologists in the World during 2010-2020, became a laureate of the prestigious awards of the Indian National Academy of Sciences – Scopus Young Scientist Award in 2012 (Social Sciences). Chiara Gallese Nobile (Italy) – Ph.D., a well-known expert and researcher in the spheres of digital evidences and artificial intelligence, technological aspects of law and ethical-legal aspects of new technologies. A certified specialist in the European law in the sphere of personal data protection (2021). She actively develops a new field of research related to applying the AI technologies and automate calculations to the sphere of digital criminology and creating synergism between these spheres. The high professional qualification of Dr Gallese Nobile was implemented in many years of successful legal practice at the Milan bar Association (2015), where she specializes in complicated cases related to information technologies and privacy protection. She also repeatedly consulted multinational companies and major banks in on the issues of confidentiality and personal data protection. She is a researcher at Eindhoven University of Technology (Eindhoven, the Netherlands) and an invited researcher of several European universities and laboratories, including Ca' Foscari University of Venice, Carlo Cattaneo University-LIUC, the Bicocca Security Lab at Milano-Bicocca University, etc. Spheres of research interests: law and technologies, ethics of artificial intelligence, digital criminology, digital evidences, data confidentiality. Jose Antonio Castillo Parrilla (Spain) – Ph.D. in Digital Law (University of Bologna, Italy, 2018), whose dissertation was granted with an award of Royal Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation (Granada, Spain) in 2018. He also has a Ph.D. degree in Civil Law (University of Granada, Spain, 2019) and awards for research achievements in the sphere of legal studies, in particular, in 2018 his monograph “Digital goods. European necessity” was granted an Eduardo de Hinojosa award in jurisprudence. He is a staff member of the research Department of Digital Society, Security and Rights Protection of the University of Granada (Spain) and a staff member of the Department of Human Rights and Genome of the University of the Basque Country (Spain), a member of consultative committee of the project “Principles of a data economy” coordinated by the American Law Institute and the project of the European Law Institute “Access to digital assets”, a researcher of the project “Market of data. Legal situation and technological business tasks”, a participant of the R+D+I (research, development, innovations) project “Promotion of justice and transparency in online mediation in tourism”, funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation of Spain, etc. Spheres of research interests: law and technologies, digital European law and comparative legal studies, digital economics and personal data protection, regulation of digital innovations. Mohd Hazmi Mohd Rusli (Malaysia) – Ph.D., Associate Professor at the Faculty of Syariah and Law, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). He is a visiting professor at a number of universities all over the world, including Far Eastern Federal University (Russia), Xiamen University (China), Universitas Brawijaya (Indonesia), National University of Timor-Lorosa’e (East Timor). He was included in the list of 100 best researchers of International Islamic University of Malaysia (2018), worked at Australian National Center for Ocean Resources and Security (University of Wollongong, Australia), the Asia-Africa Legal Consultative Organization (New Delhi, India) and others. Currently, he is a research fellow at the Australian National University (Canberra, Australia), where he implements a grant awarded by the Australian government to research the modern problems of marital law (since 2021). Spheres of research interests: marital law and technologies, international marital law, ethics of artificial intelligence and automation of water transport management, regulation of unmanned navigation.
